Crystal Baddorf
Founder & CEO
Crystal Baddorf is the Founder and CEO of Cherish, driven by a deep faith and calling to serve mothers in need. With 12 years of experience coaching and training women entrepreneurs to reach their full potential, Crystal is passionate about equipping and empowering others. In 2021, she became a certified professional speaker, leadership coach, and trainer with the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team, founded by John C. Maxwell to elevate her professional expertise and personal development. Her personal journey as an adoptive mom and birth grandmother inspired her to take a step of faith and establish a maternity home and leadership academy, answering the Lord’s call to provide hope, support, and guidance to women in crisis.

Policies and Procedures
Brie Chandler, DMS, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Doctorate in Medical Sciences. With expertise in developing hospital and clinic policies and procedures, she serves as a physician assistant, personal trainer, and nutrition expert. An adoptive mom with a deep love for the Lord, Brie is passionate about ministry, especially in supporting mothers facing unplanned pregnancies. Her commitment to faith and service drives her mission to provide hope, guidance, and care to those in need.
Debi Choi
Treasurer
Debi Choi brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial strategy, and business leadership. As the founder of Sage Growth Advisors, she is known for her sharp eye for detail, commitment to compliance, and ability to guide organizations with clarity and confidence.
She gives trusted financial oversight and strategic counsel to nonprofits focused on community impact, restoration, and growth. Her approach combines technical expertise with deep compassion, always anchored in integrity and stewardship.
Guided by her faith and a calling to serve, Debi approaches every role with a heart for ministry and a mind for excellence—ensuring every dollar is managed with wisdom, care, and a vision for lasting impact.
Shannon Keating

Shannon Keating is a dedicated leader and advocate, serving as a Guardian at Litem, home educator, adoptive mom, Bible study leader, and Missions Team Coordinator. With expertise in curriculum development, communication, and administration, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as Board Secretary.
Kathryn McDonald
Board Advisor
Kathryn MacDonald serves as a trusted advisor to the board, bringing valuable experience in business ownership and hospitality. Her expertise in vision, execution, and community collaboration provides key insights that help drive the board’s mission forward. Alongside her husband, Kathryn played a pivotal role in transforming a condemned factory into much-needed housing, demonstrating her passion for revitalizing communities and creating lasting impact. Kathryn’s deep faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ fuel her heart for ministry, guiding her in serving others with compassion, wisdom, and a commitment to God’s work
Laura Silvey
Communications
Laura has lived in the Carolinas her whole life and has worked in the nonprofit sector for 4 years. She and her husband moved to Spartanburg in 2024. She specializes in donor campaign strategies and marketing. Passionate about gospel-centered community impact, she brings expertise in communication, strategy and technology to our board, helping establish our brand and mission in the community.
