Our mission to serve her
Cherish Maternity Home was born from a God-given vision to create a safe haven for women facing unplanned pregnancies in Spartanburg County, SC. What started as a whisper from the Lord soon became a bold step of faith, as founder Crystal Baddorf took action to turn an abandoned building into a place of refuge and hope.
With unwavering trust in God’s provision, Crystal and a dedicated team formed Cherish Maternity Home, laying the foundation for a Christ-centered space where women can find shelter, support, and a future filled with promise. Today, this vision is coming to life, providing a loving community for mothers in need.

Through Christ-centered care, life skills training, and biblical guidance, we prepare mothers for independence, rooted in truth, faith, and hope.

The Vision
Cherish’s new home for expectant mothers will accommodate up to 6 women, and we are praying that God provides a married couple to live full time on the property with them. The home will have classroom spaces where the women will learn life skills, prepare for birth and postpartum, and grow in knowledge and faith in Jesus. As Cherish grows, we have dreams of expanding, including tiny homes for longer-term housing, commercial spaces for a daycare center, and retail spaces where the community can shop to support our ministry.
